Frank Hale - Music Director
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville,
Mr. Hale has over fifty-five years of directing bands both
academically and professionally, having earned a
reputation for excellence in directorship nationally
and internationally.
Mr. Hale has toured musical groups in over 30 countries,
has been Director of European Operations for
World Projects International Music Productions
for a decade, developed several International Music Events
including the London International Band Festival,
Carnegie Hall International Band Festival and
Budapest International Orchestra Festival.
Additionally he served on the production team for
the opening ceremonies of the
Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics.
A trombonist, he joined Jericho Brass (JBB) in 1998,
and later that year also became the assistant conductor,
then head conductor in 2008. His work as the
JBB director has been cited by the press as
offering music that is
“brilliantly vibrant, elegant, with
sonorous and bright tones over a wide range of sounds.”
