Jerry Pollard - Assistant Music Director
Jerry Pollard is a business owner and the
Eb Soprano Cornetist for the band.
He holds a BA degree in Music Education from
Jacksonville State University and studied
for his BA in trumpet performance at the
University of West Georgia, and Conducting.
He has performed with the Rome Symphony Orchestra
as principal and second trumpet, the
NW Georgia Brass Band,
the Rome Clocktower Jazz Big Band
and was the founder of both the Class Brass Quintet
and Roman Festival Brass. He is also currently
the Eb Soprano soloist with the Eighth Regiment Band.
Mr. Pollard has competed in five North America Brass Band Association
(NABBA) contests; four as a member of the Georgia Brass Band,
and one as the director of the Roman Festival Brass Band.
